Creating and facilitating WISE WOMAN RETREATS (20 to date) is one of Jeanne's great joys. Themes for retreats have varied from exploration of the Divine Feminine to silent meditation to YOGA and HORSES, YOGA and POTTERY (5 with renowned Colorado potter, Frank Gray) and Yoga & Shamanic Journeying. The final retreat of 2018 will be held in September at The Mandala Center in New Mexico.
In, addition, Jeanne's professional expertise (Master's degree in Social Work from U.C. Berkeley and 15+ years in health care prior to yoga certification), her intuitive, compassionate and friendly nature continue to draw private students wishing to experience yoga outside the traditional class setting. If this is something you would like to explore further, please contact her at any time.
From solstice celebrations to labyrinth meditations, yoga philosophy to Ayurveda, Jeanne offers her students a wide diversity of experiences to broaden their yoga practice and knowledge beyond asana, incorporating pranayama (breathwork), chakra theory, teachings on the Yoga Sutra and in-depth exploration of the anatomy of yoga.
